Pentax K110D Is Widely Available

The Pentax K110D is finally available at most retailers in North America, after Pentax announced in May that it would arrive soon after its nearly identical sister, the K100D, only differing in its lack of Shake-Reduction. The K110D retails for nearly $100 US less than the K100D, at $519 for the body only, and $599 as a kit with the Pentax DA 18-55mm lens. Also, the K110D differs from the *ist DL, which is still available at some stores, in that it has improved in-camera image processing, 11 point auto-focus, can use SDHC memory cards (with firmware update), additional photo "scene" modes, and a redesigned body with a stronger and more rigid alloy metal.
