Ned Bunnell's Mom: More New Pre-Release K10D Pics

At his blog Ned Bunnell, Pentax honcho and fan, has posted a series of pics with the 31mm Limited lens (set at F/4) at steps of some major ISOs with the K10D: 200, 400, 800, and 1600. Let's just say Pentax is getting confident that the prototype cameras they have (Ned's was on show at PhotoPlus in NYC this last weekend) have firmware (his is version 0.32) that's close to production standards but not the final release. Ned took shots of his adorable mother and all the photos are there for download in scaled down crops. But they really look good, even at ISO 1600. The 31mm Limited lens even has somewhat milky bokeh at F/4, which is pretty good for such a small lens. As Borat would say, "Niiiiice!"
