About time! Get the update 3.1 For Digital Camera Raw Compatibility here (sorry, Mac OS 10.5.8 and 10.6 only!). Not just for Aperture, it will make iPhoto and Preview App play nice with your PEFs. But oh man, Lightroom 3 can't come fast enough.

But since both cameras support DNG, this shouldn't matter, right?
Didn't DNGs out of these cameras work in Apple products before this update?
I don't know about the K-x, but I know my K-7 now generates compressed DNGs, so there's no need to shoot PEFs to save card space (and using DNGs in Lightroom allows metadata changes to be embedded into the original file).
